Since 2005, Way of Peace has been active throughout Israel and the Middle East. The Gospel has been proclaimed with clarity to both Jews and Arabs in Israel. The harvest has been remarkable.

In 2009, Pastor Peter asked me to take oversight of Way of Peace Ministries, and to share the vision of Way of Peace…. for the Gospel in Israel.

In his (Pastor Peter) mind’s eye he envisioned how he and you had touched the world…. millions have come to Christ… but what about the people of Israel?
The Gospel awareness in Israel is very low. Yes, much religion exists, but little or no knowledge of the new life in Jesus Christ. Official statistics put born again believers at less than 2% of the population. How can that be after 2,000 years?
Israel does not share the same freedom to share the Gospel we enjoy in North America. While ministries are allowed to operate, they are not allowed to “convert” others from one faith to another. Gospel outreaches and churches must use creative approaches to share the Gospel.
In December 2010, Israel experienced its worse forest fire in the history of the nation. Over 5,000,000 trees were destroyed, and 42 people died. Our Gospel workers in Israel were among the first to respond to the crisis providing food and shelter for those affected by the fire. Gospel seeds were planted! This is one example of many!
