Dear Friend,

Despite the constant threat of persecution and even death, Salvatore can’t ignore the lack of Gospel news in Israel today. You see, official stats say barely 2% of Israel’s population are Christians. 

As horrible as he feels, Salvatore’s heart burns with love for his country. The good news of Jesus compels him to continue despite the threats to him and his family.  

Sadly, Salvatore is not alone. Gospel workers throughout Israel share a similar story. Believers in Jesus around the world are often shocked to discover that in Israel, where the Gospel began, the light of the Gospel is very dim. 

Yet, despite the hardships, Salvatore takes courage from support he receives from believers around the globe.  

Before I continue, I must elaborate. Salvatore is one of nine Gospel workers whom Way of Peace Ministries supports with prayers and finances every month. I’m proud to tell you that through Way of Peace, thousands of kindhearted Christians, like you friend, give hope to workers like Salvatore. If not for you, they would not be able to continue, and there are more that need your support. 

These Gospel workers endure alienation, mockery and shame for the sake of the Gospel. Many have given up everything to follow Christ. 

Salvatore is one of the more fortunate Gospel workers in Israel. Thanks to Way of Peace supporters, he receives financial support which allows him to travel the country and conduct evangelistic outreaches in the streets, schools and theatres. 

I’m sending this urgent call for aid because so many more are pleading for help.... and lives could be lost if we don’t respond in time.
