Way of Peace Ministries is a strategic approach to ministry in Israel and the Middle East.
What sets Way of Peace, and its partners apart?
1. Way of Peace partners reach Israel with the Gospel of Jesus, the Messiah. Like Paul, Way of Peace partners proclaim the Good News that God has fulfilled the promise He made to the people; the Messiah has come (Acts 13:14-39)! Way of Peace partners support outreach centers in ten locations throughout Israel.
EVANGELISM is the first burning vision of Way of Peace partners.
2. Way of Peace partners commit to build up the body of the Messiah. Partners equip believers throughout Israel for service as new creations in Christ. Bible studies, home groups and discipleship training are key components to equipping believers.
EQUIPPING is the second mission of Way of Peace partners.
3. Way of Peace partners educate the body of Christ on how to share the Gospel with their Jewish and Muslim friends. Partners inform fellow believers of the need that Israel has for the true Gospel of Jesus: He has come not to condemn but to save.
EDUCATION is the third purpose of Way of Peace partners.
In no way do these three pillars of partnership encompass all that is a Way of Peace partner. It is, however, a clear picture.
Each of the three pillars has one theme…. GOSPEL ADVANCEMENT.
Outreach, strengthening and teaching; each is done with one purpose in mind. Jesus Christ is exalted and revealed throughout Israel.
Jesus is irresistibly beautiful!
Often much focus is put on programs, plans or ideas. Don’t get me wrong. God, and Way of Peace, utilize these tools. However, each tool is a servant to the main goal of revealing Him!
Jesus is the peace that the Middle East longs for. He is peace of mind for the tormented. He is forgiveness for the murderer. He is health for the weary.
A Way of Peace Gospel worker said, “When Jews and Arabs become believers and accept Yeshua in their hearts, we become like brothers and a ministry of reconciliation happens. That’s the only answer for Israel and the Middle East.”
Why are Way of Peace partners important?
Israel is the land where Jesus was born. Doesn’t everyone know about Him in Israel?
Sadly, after 2,000 years, less than 2%, believe on Christ! That is a startling fact. Atheism and staunch religious rule are the primary belief systems in Israel.
Together, Way of Peace partners will change that reality.
Together, Way of Peace partners advance the Gospel among Jews and Arabs in Israel by providing finances and support for local ministries.
Together, Way of Peace partners sponsor special projects that bring the Gospel to Jews and Muslims all over the world.
Together, Way of Peace partners seek to educate the Christian public about the needs for Gospel advancement in Israel, and the Middle East.
Together, Way of Peace partners do what is impossible for one to do alone.
Jesus sent out his disciples in teams. TEAMWORK IS PARTNERSHIP!
